Mettupalayam
Overview
06.03.2026 Showcasing Global Grant Projects of Rotary Mettupalayam to RFE Team Rotary Mettupalayam showcased its three major Global Grant projects to fellow Rotarians from Rotary District 4110 in Mexico. The Rotary Club of Juarez Campestre has served as our International Partner for three separate Global Grants; this meeting provided a meaningful opportunity to present the results of these initiatives and formally thank them for their steadfast support. The projects highlighted included: Project HEAL (Rotary Year 2019-20): The implementation of a mobile mammogram and cervical screening vehicle dedicated to serving underprivileged women. Project CARE (Rotary Year 2019-20): An emergency pandemic response that deployed a post-operative Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and digital X-ray equipment at our local Government Hospital. Project Lifeline (Rotary Year 2021-22): The establishment of a blood component separation facility at the Government Hospital Blood Bank.
