02.03.2026 Book Released Consumer Awareness A "Book of Awareness on Procedures for Consumer Protection" was released at the event conducted by District Designated Officer Dr.Anuradha, for students of R V College of Arts and Sciences, Karamadai. The book was compiled by our Club member, Rtn. Suresh Ananthakrishnan, who is also a member of the Mettupalayam Consumer Protection Organization. The book explains more than 50 government and financial related matters that a family has to address when a family member passes away. The book was dedicated to the public by Dr. Anuradha, representing the Coimbatore District Collector Mr. Pavan Kumar Giriyapanavar who could not attend this scheduled event as he was called away on an urgent matter. 10,000 copies have been printed and will be distributed on a need basis at various crematoriums, burial grounds etc. so that the booklet reaches the right audience at the right time and right place.
