22.03.2026 New Basketball Court Bhoomi Pooja Ceremony at Govt School. The Rotary Club of Mettupalayam organized the Bhoomi Pooja Ceremony for the construction of a basketball court at the Government Higher Secondary School, Mettupalayam, on March 22, 2026. The following Rotarians were present for the occasion: Rtn. Santhamoorthy, Rtn. S. Vijaivikkash, Rtn. Bipin, Rtn. Sanjay Shankala, Rtn. NSV. Arumugam, Rtn. Sudharsan, Rtn. KP Nageswaran, Rtn. Suresh Ananthakrishnan, Rtn. Jayakumar, Rtn. Seenivasan, and Rtn. Muthusamy. The Bhoomi Pooja was performed by Er. Sivakumar and the Physical Training (PT) Master, seeking blessings for the successful and timely completion of the project. Project Funding: During the event, our President, Rtn. Santhamoorthy, handed over a cheque for Rs.50,000 to Er. Sivakumar to mark the commencement of the construction work.
