25.03.2026 Project Heal Update Mammogram Mobile Van Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Initiative of: Rotary Club of Mettupalayam and Rotary District 3203 (Global Grant: GG 2094977 Project HEAL Trust issued a cheque for Rs. 950,000 to Siemens Healthcare Private Limited towards the Annual Maintenance Charges for the Siemens Mammomat Fusion device for the 6th year of our project operations (FY 2026-27). The initial 5-year warranty for the device was included in the original purchase price, and as per the Memorandum of Understanding with Rotary Mettupalayam and KMCH, the Project HEAL Trust is supposed to manage the ongoing operational costs. The cheque was handed over to Siemens by the Chairman of the Trust Mr. Nowrathanmal Shankla, in the presence of Rtn. Dr. Vijayagiri (Secretary), Rtn. Suresh Ananthakrishnan (Chief Operating Officer) and Rtn. K. P. Nageshwaran (Regional Project Coordinator for HEAL). Project HEAL has so far completed more than 180 camps and 10,000 screenings.
