Dr. Vijayagiri The Robotic Surgery Conclave of Paediatric Surgeons (ROBOCOPS 2026) was held at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow. Held from April 3 to April 5, 2026, the event highlighted SGPGIs emergence as a premier center for pediatric robotic interventions in India. The event focused on the growing role of robotics in pediatric care, specifically emphasizing precision, minimal invasiveness, and improved outcomes for neonates and children. Our Club Member, Rtn. Dr. Vijayagiri, attended this conclave and had the privilege of meeting several esteemed professors. He was delighted to meet renowned figures such as Dr. Sripathi, a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, along with numerous distinguished teachers and fellow pediatric surgeons from across India. Surgeons discussed successful cases ranging from a 6-month-old infant weighing just 5kg to an 18-year-old adult.
