05.05.2026 Excellence in Vocation - Mr.S. Ananda Kumar - GOV On May 5, 2026, District Governor Rtn. Dhanasekar presented the Excellence in Vocation Award to Mr. S. Ananda Kumar for his transformative impact on education.He was Introduced to the Floor by Rtn.Mahesh Chandar. Since 1996, Mr. Kumar has served as a Vocational Instructor at Municipal Girls Higher Secondary School. A "Gold Standard" educator, he consistently achieves 100% pass rates in Accounting, Auditing, and Commerce while pioneering digital learning through Smart Classes. Beyond the classroom, his dedication is boundless: Infrastructure: Renovated playgrounds and classrooms. Safety: Personally regulates traffic for student security. Philanthropy: Provides uniforms via Kamaraj Peravai and led COVID-19 relief efforts. A 2025 recipient of the Dr. Radhakrishnan State Best Teacher Award, Mr. Ananda Kumars three decades of pedagogical brilliance and tireless service embody the true spirit of Rotary.
