06.06.2026 Celebrating 10 Years of Healing at Savitha Hospital On the occasion of Savitha Hospital’s 10th Anniversary on Friday, 6th June 2026, a series of impactful service initiatives were organized at the hospital premises in Karamadai, reflecting a deep commitment to community welfare. Our Rotary Club of Mettupalayam was honored to be part of this noble endeavour. President Rtn. K. Selvam, Secretary Rtn. Senivasan C., and Treasurer Rtn. Sanjay graced the occasion and actively participated in the day’s service events. Tree saplings were symbolically planted by our team alongside Rtn. Dr. Ismail and Rtn. Dr. Saritha, reinforcing our shared dedication to both health and the environment. The Free Eye Screening Camp was formally inaugurated by Rtn. Dr. Ismail, who also serves as the President of the Indian Medical Association, Mettupalayam. In a shining example of “Service Above Self,” Rtn. Dr. Sasithra and Rtn. Sanjay selflessly donated blood during the Blood Donation Camp, organized under the leadership of Mr. N.N. Ramakrishnan, Social Activist and Executive Director, Naakkupetta Trust, Ooty. All blood donors were gifted saplings — a beautiful gesture linking life-saving service with environmental stewardship. A General Medical Consultation Camp was led by Dr. B.R. Sasikumar, HOD of Pediatrics, Coimbatore Medical College Hospital, offering free healthcare guidance to attendees. The event was a remarkable blend of compassion, care, and community.
