16.06.2026 – Joint Board Meeting of Team 2025–26 and Team 2026–27 The meeting commenced with the Welcome Address by President Rtn. Santhamoorthy. The President thanked all members for their wholehearted support during his tenure. Key Discussions and Decisions • The Board discussed organizing an Inter-School Basketball Tournament Rolling Trophy, which could become an annual signature project of the club. • President Rtn. Santhamoorthy then handed over the proceedings to President-Elect Rtn. Sanjay Shankla. • Rtn. Dr. Ismail suggested encouraging greater participation of members and their families in club activities and meetings. • The proposed budget for the Rotary Year 2026–27 was presented by Treasurer-Elect Rtn. Senivasan and was approved by the Board. • The Board approved the proposal for the induction of a new prospective member, Mr. T. Srinivasan. • President-Elect Rtn. Sanjay Shankla presented several projects planned for the upcoming Rotary year. • President-Elect Rtn. Sanjay Shankla informed the Board that the Installation Ceremony for the incoming team would be held on Tuesday, 7th July 2026, at Guru Misri Rotary Hall, Metro School, with District Governor-Elect Rtn. MD. Arch. K.K. Vijayachandran as the Chief Guest. All members were invited to attend. • The Board congratulated President-Elect Rtn. Sanjay Shankla and wished him and his team success in leading the club during the Rotary Year 2026–27.
