Dr. Ismail received the Excellence in Professional Award at the Doctors Day celebrations, which recognised the contributions of doctors from various fields, organised by Alliance Club of Coimbatore and VLB College of Arts and Science. The Joint Director of Health and the Dean of Medical College attended the function as chief guests.
