20.08.2025 3rd Project HEAL Camp of the Rotary Year 2025-26.Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening. The camp was organized for workers at the tea estate and also members of the public. The MD of Bengorm Tea Estate -Mr. Deven Madhvani and his sister went to extraordinary lengths to not only organize the camp but also showcase the project to other tea estates and the government. Chief Guest for the inauguration was Ms. Nisha, Superintendent of Police, Nilgiris District. Rtn.Dr.Vijayagiri spoke about the importance of screening for these two diseases. More than 50 Mammograms and 50 Pap Smear tests were done, making it the most successful camp for Project HEAL. Cost of the Service Rs.4 Lacs. Special thanks to Rtn. Sajeev and Rtn. K. P. Nageshwaran from Rotary Mettupalayam for all the efforts in organizing the camp.
