16.10.2025 Rotary Club of Mettupalayam Inspires Students with Gandhian Values To help the younger generation reflect on the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, the Rotary Club of Mettupalayam guided the Interact Club of Government Higher Secondary School, Mettupalayam, to organize essay, drawing, costume and speech competitions on Gandhi?s life and message. Over 60 students participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their creativity and admiration for the Father of the Nation. On 16th October, the school?s Interact Club held the Prize Distribution Ceremony. PTA President Rtn.AKS.NSV Arumugam and President Rtn. Santhamoorthy addressed the students, while Rtn.Dr. Ismail delivered an inspiring speech linking Gandhiji?s life to Rotary?s five core values. The event was graced by Rtn. Captain Durai, Rtn. Suresh Ananthakrishnan, Rtn. Sanjay, Rtn. Bipin, and Club interact chair Rtn. K.P. Nageswaran, who motivated students to follow Gandhian principles in everyday life.
