07.11.2025 14th Project HEAL of the Rotary Year 2025-26 Event: Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Initiative of: Rotary Club of Mettupalayam and Rotary District 3203.Global Grant: GG 2094977 ?The camp was organized and hosted by the Rotary Club of Pollachi and Shri Saraswathi Thyagaraja College, Pollachi at their campus. The beneficiaries were Staff Members of Shri Saraswathi Thyagaraja College, Pollachi Dr.Sumala Kaushik and Dr.Vanithamani, Principal, STC, Pollachi were the Chief Guests. Chief Guest Dr.Sumala Kaushik Spoke about cancer awarness, prevention and the lifestyle modifications in gynaecology to the STC Students. Projected Headed by President Rtn.V.Satish Chandran, Secretary Rtn Dr Sreekanth, PP.Rtn.Grishen, PP Rtn Venkatesh and Treasurer Rtn.Savitha. ?A four-member medical team from KMCH Hospital, Coimbatore conducted the screening and testing. Key Achievements: 15 Mammograms 23 PAP Smear Done by KMCH Team. Cost of the Project Rs.3.25 Lacs.
