05.11.2025 13th Project HEAL of the Rotary Year 2025-26 Event: Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Initiative of: Rotary Club of Mettupalayam and Rotary District 3203.Global Grant: GG 2094977 The camp was organized and hosted by the Rotary Club of Gobi at the Rotary Hall, Gobi, for the general public. The camp was inaugurated by PDG Rtn. AKS. Shanmugasundaram and Rtn. Dr. Sathishkumar, Club Health Project Chair. From Rotary Club of Gobi President Rtn.Saravanan, Secretary Rtn.Shanmugam, Treasurer Rtn. Kumaresan, and club members attended the camp: Felicitations were offered by the Club Service Projects Chair Rtn. Padmakumar, Rtn.Chenniappan (Ward 1 Councillor, Gobi), and Rtn. Karthikeyan (Club Vice President). A four-member medical team from KMCH Hospital, Coimbatore conducted the screening and testing. Key Achievements: Mammograms were performed for 35 women.PAP Smears were performed for 21 women. Screening procedures worth Rs. 2.5 Lakhs were provided.
