30.12.2025: Sports Achievement by a Metro Student Miss S. Manisha, a student of Metro Matriculation School (sponsored and run by Rotary Mettupalayam), won a Gold Medal in Silambattam at the Nilgiri Parliament Level Silambam Competition held under the Khelo India initiative. Competing in the Under-17 category against a total of 53 participants, Miss Manisha emerged victorious. She was honored by the Honorable Union Minister Shri.L..Murugan (Ministry of Information and Broadcasting) in the presence of Mrs. P.T. Usha (Member of Rajya Sabha) and acclaimed music director and actor ShriG.V.Prakash.
