06.01.2026 Awareness Programme on Life-Saving Skills Rotary Club of Coimbatore D Elite, in association with the Rotary Club of Mettupalayam, hosted an impactful awareness programme on "Life-Saving Skills," specifically designed to empower our community with the knowledge of First Aid. The event commenced at Guru Misri Rotary Hall, Metro School, Mettupalayam, with high tea at 4:00 PM. Rtn. Gopalakrishnan, Assistant Governor (RID 3206), introduced the guest speaker, Mr. Vanthe Mantharam A. Madhavan, a Life-Saving Skill Trainer. The programme, titled Life-Saving Skills First Aid and Life-Saving Skills for Every Individual, featured an informative session led by Mr. Madhavan. He provided practical demonstrations and interacted with nearly 300 Scouts, NCC students, teachers from Metro School, and Rotarians.
