09.01.2026 Awareness Program on Girl Child Health Rotary Club of Mettupalayam, as part of its community health initiatives, successfully organized an Awareness Programme on Girl Child Health at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Mettupalayam. The program was addressed by our club member Rtn. Dr. Sumathi Chandrasekaran, MBBS, DGO, who delivered an informative and impactful session on the causes, symptoms, prevention, and management of health issues, with a special focus on girls. The session highlighted the importance of nutrition, regular health check-ups, and early diagnosis to prevent long-term health complications. The programme was well-received by the participants and helped create greater awareness about maintaining good health through proper dietary habits. President Rtn. Santhamoorthy, IPP Rtn.
