26.01.2026 77th Republic Day Celebration The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with pride and patriotic fervour at Metro. The programme began with a prayer by the students, followed by a warm welcome address by our Principal, Mrs. S. Sulochana. Chief Guest and School Correspondent, Rtn.Muthusamy, accepted the salute and unfurled the National Flag. The celebration continued with the Flag Song, National Pledge, and the Rotary Four-Way Test recited by the students. The Chief Guest then reviewed the salute from the NCC unit, Scouts and Guides, NCC Girls Wing, and the School Band. C. Thaneesha of Class XII A2 delivered an inspiring Republic Day speech. In his address, the Chief Guest Rtn. K Muthuswamy motivated the students to uphold the values of the Constitution. The programme featured a divine bhajan rendered by the students, followed by a spectacular mass drill. The Staff Secretary proposed the vote of thanks, and the celebration concluded with the National Anthem
