The distinguishing aspect of this project is that it is totally owned ,sponsored and managed by the Rotary club of Mettupalayam. This year the school has completed 401 years of its existence and has gone from strength to strength. The efforts of the Rotarians, School Correspondant.Rtn.Sidduram, School Committee Chairman Rtn.Thiagarajan and the Managing Committee  are laudable .

Our dream project ,an Auditorium to seat 500 people with all modern infrastructure is  complete, and The same building will be having 14 new class rooms and a full-fledged library and computer centre.
  • Vocational Training Centre

After six months the first batch of successful trainees passed out in the month of March 2006 and were given certificates and all other assistance for them to start their own ventures. We whole heartedly thank all the sponsors who supported this venture by giving material, sewing machines, furniture’s etc
Due to the great success of the Vocational training centre, and the overwhelming response shown by the public, the need for extra space was felt. Hence it was decided to extend one more floor to ease the congestion. On his Official visit, on 25-4-2006, Governor K.S.Pillai Was happy enough  to inaugurate  the New Extension Block of the Vocational Training Centre, which had  cost about  Rs3 lakhs.
  • CREMATORIUM  "SHANTHIVANAM"
  • After many years of deliberations with the municipality and other authorities our club finally took a
decision to take over the crematorium project and build it to a monument, which will be remembered
for generations to come. With the kind support and advice from our senior Rotarians, Rotary
Mettupalayam Crematorium Trust (RMCT) was formed and registered on 12.8.2011 in  the Presidentship of Rtn.Akbar Ali,  and Rtn. A. Somasundram as the Chairman,. Simultaneously on 26.8.2011 RMCT made an agreement with the Municipality to administer and maintain the crematorium for a period of ten years. The Municipality had
already provided the main building with the required Machines and more over the developments had to
be put in place RMCT decided to appoint an architect to give suitable plan and design and
Mr.Jayakumar was appointed and he gave us a wonderful plan and design, which you are currently
witnessing. To Execute the Project enormous fund were required .The RMCT took out efforts to
mobilize the funds which was very successful .The Rotarians and the public in around Mettupalayam
were very generous in their contributions. Initially things were quite smooth and we thought the project
would be completed within six months. But unavoidably the compound wall had to be replaced which
took a toll of almost all the funds collected at that time and proved to be a extra burden on us. We
never lost heart and went on with the project. Apart from the main block, we added office block in the
front and a very hygiene toilet at the rear side. We also constructed a stone bed and meditation Hall.
We have also installed an Effluent Treatment plant to safe guard nature. The crematorium was
inaugurated on 29-1-2013, and is currently catering to the needs of the community in and around
Mettupalayam, We wish to Thank Hotel owners association for providing a back up generator worth 5 lakhs and thanks to Lorry owners association for providing a full fledged Mortuary van, Total project
     cost is around 3 crores
